The informational displays in this museum explore the customs of people from lower Saxony. The history of Celle and of the Hannover Kingdom is also illustrated. Various presentations and exhibits held here throughout the year focus on classic modern art and the historical cultures of this region.

KIRCHRODE. One very prominent means of transportation in the early 20th century was by tram, and trams are the main feature in this informative museum. Guests may take guided tours and rides to learn about the significance of this form of transportation throughout the city's history.

CITY CENTER. Travel back in time to the early days of Hannover. Relics from the days when the Guelfs ruled are on exhibit, including portraits of rulers, medals, and flags of that period. Additional exhibits illustrate how forestry, hunting, and mining contributed to the livelihood of the town during the 19th century. This historical museum even represents more recent years by displaying an antique car that dates to 1928.

LAATZEN. Over 30 historic aircrafts are exhibited in this museum that illustrates the history of aviation. Four thousand exhibits and displays feature technology and its development from the 1780's to the 1960s. In addition, there are various models of cars and antique engines that help make up the displays.

LINDEN. This museum allows you to see how times have changed over the past one hundred years. The technological advances in everyday objects such as refrigerators, stoves, telephones, and televisions are made truly evident through the numerous exhibits.
